About the role
First Fence of Georgia is seeking experienced fence installers for its First Fence University (FFU) Program. The program offers advanced training, career development, and opportunities to grow into leadership positions within a rapidly expanding fence company. Applicants must have prior fence installation experience.
Responsibilities
- Install residential, commercial, and industrial fencing.
- Read and interpret work orders, site plans, and measurements.
- Set posts and install panels, gates, and hardware.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment safely.
- Install wood, chain link, aluminum, vinyl, steel, and specialty fencing products.
- Ensure projects meet company quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and represent the company professionally on job sites.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of fence installation experience is required.
- Experience with wood, chain link, aluminum, vinyl, steel, and automated gate systems is preferred.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a DOT background check and drug screening.
