Job description
About the role
Mission Foods is part of a growing organization within Gruma Corporation. The Warehouse Assistant Manager supervises the overall warehouse operation.
Responsibilities
- Review shipment documents daily and coordinate warehouse documentation and information with the Warehouse Supervisors.
- Reconcile with the Production Department and Accounts Receivable daily.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies needed for warehouse operations.
- Prepare weekly product packing requirements for the Plant Superintendent or Production Manager.
- Coordinate customer shipments with the Export & Distribution Manager.
- Process export shipments and regulatory documentation, and provide international and domestic customer assistance.
- Assist the Traffic Clerk and Transportation departments as needed.
- Provide the Export & Distribution Manager with shipment information and substitute for the manager as necessary.
- Resolve customer complaints related to the warehouse.
- Review and control the Warehouse Department budget.
- Maintain daily perpetual inventory and prepare daily and month-end closing reports.
