Position Overview:BMNS is seeking a customer-focused and detail-oriented Warranty Representative to support warranty operations for a leading manufacturer in the commercial vehicle industry. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, fleet managers, and authorized service centers, ensuring warranty claims are handled efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate has experience in warranty administration, technical customer service, or after-sales support within manufacturing, automotive, commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, or related industries. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments to resolve warranty cases accurately and efficiently.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, fleet managers, and authorized service centers regarding warranty inquiries.Receive and manage warranty requests through phone and email while delivering exceptional customer service.Determine warranty eligibility and coverage based on company policies and product information.Create, update, and manage warranty cases from initiation through resolution.Process warranty claims accurately and ensure timely approvals and reimbursements.Review repair estimates, negotiate labor hours, and authorize warranty repairs when applicable.Research replacement parts by reviewing build orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and technical documentation.Process warranty parts orders and coordinate with internal teams regarding parts availability and lead times.Assist customers with product recall processes, coordinating repairs, replacement parts, and required documentation.Collaborate closely with Technical Support, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams to resolve customer concerns.Investigate warranty issues and communicate findings to support quality improvements.Assist in onboarding new service centers for warranty repair services.Maintain accurate warranty documentation, claim records, and customer communications.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and complete required company training.Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, warranty procedures, and quality standards.
Requirements:Minimum Requirements:Advanced proficiency in English.Valid passport and visa to travel to the United States for in-person training.High School Diploma.2–5 years of experience in warranty administration, after-sales support, technical customer service, customer support, or related roles.Previous experience within manufacturing, automotive, commercial vehicles, fleet services, heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or similar industries.Strong customer service and relationship management skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience processing warranty claims and warranty parts orders.Experience working with dealerships, fleet customers, service centers, or field technicians.Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs), build orders, assembly drawings, or other technical documentation.Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.Experience collaborating with Engineering, Technical Support, Quality, and Operations teams.Knowledge of ERP or warranty management systems.
