Key Responsibilities Conduct daily waste collection and recycling operations adhering to company safety protocols. Sort and categorize recyclable materials accurately to ensure efficient processing. Maintain records of waste collection and disposal, reporting metrics regularly. Engage with community members to educate them on proper recycling practices. Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and streamline operations. Conduct routine maintenance checks on collection vehicles and equipment. Participate in special projects aimed at improving waste diversion rates. Required and preferred qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience in recycling and waste management is preferred. Strong understanding of recycling practices and materials. Must be able to operate standard waste disposal vehicles. Possession of a valid driver’s license. Familiarity with safety regulations in waste management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be part of a collaborative team comprising waste management specialists, environmental engineers, and community outreach coordinators. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, your role will require you to engage regularly with other teams to address operational challenges and customer inquiries.
