Wastewater Level A Operator Job in Delaware, Ohio

Wastewater Level A Operator position available with Rukaiya Malik in Delaware, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a Level III Wastewater License and at least two years of experience in a Direct Responsible Charge role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the environmental compliance program for the water treatment system, including monitoring and reporting sample results as required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to Lock Out Tag Out and Process Safety Management procedures.
• Operate and maintain the water treatment system, ensuring maintenance schedules are met and repairs are addressed promptly.
• Maintain accurate compliance recordkeeping.
• Perform process control laboratory work as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent credit hours approved by the board.
• Minimum of 4 years operating experience in wastewater facilities at Class II level or higher, including at least 2 years in a Direct Responsible Charge position.
• Possession of a Level III Wastewater License.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Delaware, Ohio. Remote work is not eligible.
