Water Treatment Plant Operator

Tasks

• Operation and maintenance of 1 - 2 water plants and wastewater systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
• Requires bending, lifting, kneeling, stretching and reaching without difficulty.
• Working with and having knowledge of required chemicals and fuels.
• Work without direct supervision, within approved policies, procedures, and specifications.
• Valid drivers license
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Required or willing to obtain - Class 1 Water Treatment and Distribution Certificate
• Required or willing to obtain - Class 1 Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection Certificate

Schedule

• Willing and able to be subject to Call Outs.
• Under contract training for certification may be provided while on the job for the right candidate.

Pay

• Salary is commensurate with experience.
