Position: Webservices Developer
Location: Washington, DC / Virginia / Maryland

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement RESTful and SOAP web services to enable communication between diverse applications and systems.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components with backend services using frameworks like React, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Design and optimize database schemas using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB to support application data needs.
- Utilize ASP.NET (including ASP.NET Core), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation), and microservices architecture to build scalable solutions.
- Write clean, efficient code using C#, Python, Java, or Ruby on Rails while adhering to SDLC best practices.
- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables; utilize tools such as Visual Studio, Eclipse, GitHub, TFS, and SVN for version control.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment using Azure DevOps or similar platforms.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups, to deliver iterative improvements rapidly.
- Design APIs following UML diagrams and document them thoroughly for ease of use by internal teams and third-party developers.
