Job description
Tail Worthy Stables is looking for a reliable, experienced horse person to help with weekend barn care.
THE DETAILS
Most Saturdays
• Morning shift: choose a 2-hour window between 5–10 AM
• Evening shift: 2 hours before sunset (currently around 6–8 PM, shifting seasonally)
• You can work one or both shifts
• $15/hour
DUTIES INCLUDE
• Turning horses in/out
• Feeding hay & grain
• Blanketing/unblanketing
• Picking hooves
• Fly spray & fly masks
• Administering prepared medications/supplements
• Cleaning stalls
• Cleaning/refilling buckets & troughs
• General barn cleanup & upkeep
• Occasional weed whacking and feed-room/barn projects
WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
• Has solid horse experience
• Can lift 50 lbs
• Has reliable transportation
• Is dependable and punctual
• Is comfortable handling horses independently
• Can provide a reference (preferred)
15+ welcome to apply with appropriate horse experience.
