About the role

The Continuing Care Aid (CCA) provides direct support to individuals and families residing in The Carter House Family Treatment Center.

The Carter House Family Treatment Center supports parents in recovery from substance use while caring for their children.

Tasks

  • Assist parents/children with daily routines/activities of daily living
  • Provide emotional support to navigate recovery and parenting responsibilities
  • Model and reinforce healthy communication, boundaries, and parenting skills
  • Supervise and engage children in culturally relevant learning activities
  • Support parents in caregiving, using Indigenous ways of knowing

Pay
