Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication on metal components per detailed specifications and blueprints.
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding machines.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Work closely with the owner and shop foreman to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing designs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while strictly following safety protocols.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes and minimize waste.
• Support training and mentoring of junior welders and fabricators as needed.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years proven experience in welding and metal fabrication.
• Proficient in various welding techniques: MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Competent in measuring accurately with a tape measure.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

As part of our skilled team, you will report directly to the owner and contribute to delivering exceptional metal fabrication solutions. This position is not remote and requires working on-site in Syracuse, NY.
