MFMI is looking for a skilled Welder (Soldador) to join our team in Girón, Santander Department, Colombia. As a Welder, you will be essential in fabricating high-quality metal components and structures, directly impacting our operational success. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding techniques to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution. Inspect completed welds for firmness, quality, and clarity using appropriate testing methods. Maintain welding equipment by performing regular preventative maintenance and repairs. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggesting enhancements. Required and Preferred Qualifications Technical Diploma in Welding (required). Strong proficiency in MIG welding techniques. Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Previous welding or fabricating experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices.
