Welder (Soldador)

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Girón, Santander Department, Colombia. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding techniques to fabricate and assemble metal components in accordance with the specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate work execution. Inspect completed welds for firmness, quality, and clarity using appropriate testing techniques. Maintain welding equipment in optimal condition by performing regular preventative maintenance and repairs. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to streamline processes and enhance product quality. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggesting enhancements to current practices. Required and Preferred Qualifications Technical Diploma in Welding is required. Strong proficiency in MIG welding techniques. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Previous experience in a welding or fabricating role is preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in welding.
