Job description
MFMI is hiring a full-time MIG Welder in Girón, Santander Department, Colombia. Join a collaborative production team and help fabricate high-quality metal components and structures with precision and care. This is an on-site position reporting to the Production Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Use MIG welding techniques to fabricate and assemble metal components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Inspect completed welds for strength, quality, and finish using appropriate testing methods.
- Maintain welding equipment through routine preventive maintenance and repairs.
- Follow welding safety protocols to help maintain a safe workplace.
- Work with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality.
- Share feedback and recommend improvements to current practices.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Technical diploma in welding required.
- Strong proficiency in MIG welding.
- Careful attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards and practices.
Compensation and Employment
Pay: 1800000 per year. This is a full-time, on-site role in Girón, Santander Department, Colombia.
