MFMI is seeking a skilled Welder (Soldador) to join our team in Girón, Santander Department, Colombia. As a Welder, you will be essential in fabricating high-quality metal components and structures that drive our operational success. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding to fabricate and assemble metal parts following specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution. Inspect welds for strength, quality, and clarity using proper testing methods. Maintain welding equipment through regular preventative maintenance and repairs. Follow strict safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace for all team members. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and product quality. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by offering feedback and suggesting enhancements. Required and Preferred Qualifications Technical Diploma in Welding (required). Strong proficiency in MIG welding techniques. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship. Previous welding or fabrication experience preferred. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Knowledge of welding safety standards and best practices.
