Job description: The Wicihitowin Outreach Team Member provides proactive, relationship-based and trauma-informed outreach and practical support to community members throughout Regina. Wicihitowin means helping and supporting one another in Cree. The team is grounded in relationship, reciprocity, respect, belonging and the belief that people deserve to be met where they are and supported without judgment. Key Responsibilities Conduct mobile outreach throughout Regina, including encampments, public spaces and areas identified as priorities. Build consistent, respectful and trusting relationships with community members. Complete wellness checks and respond to assigned calls for service. Engage individuals using trauma-informed, person-centred and non-judgmental approaches. Identify immediate needs and work with individuals to determine appropriate next steps.
