Job description
About the role
Battlefords Agency Tribal Chiefs (BATC) is seeking a Youth Outreach and Support Worker to support First Nations youth and their families across BATC communities.
Tasks
- Build trusting and supportive relationships with youth and families.
- Travel regularly to BATC communities to provide outreach and support services.
- Assist youth in accessing counselling, assessments, treatment programs, and community resources.
- Support youth during crises and facilitate connections to appropriate services.
- Promote youth mental health awareness and prevention initiatives.
- Advocate for youth and families experiencing barriers related to transportation, housing, education, health care
