Academic Vice Principal

Purpose of the RoleTo be a close and present source of support for students, teachers, and families: accompanying the day-to-day life of the school community, addressing and resolving situations with warmth and sound judgment, and collaborating with the academic directors on administrative management and the pursuit of academic excellence.
Main ResponsibilitiesAccompany students throughout their school experience, attending to their needs with closeness and looking after their holistic well-being.Support the teaching team through classroom observations, growth-oriented feedback, and guidance in their daily practice.Address and follow up on situations raised by families, with empathetic listening, transparency, and a solution-oriented approach.Work jointly with the academic directors on administrative and campus management matters.Support the institution's academic excellence initiatives.Support COGNIA evaluation and accreditation processes.
RequirementsBachelor's degree in Education, Educational Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in academic leadership or coordination, ideally in IB institutions.Knowledge of IB programmes.Proficiency in Spanish and English (C1 or higher).Experience in teacher support and family relations.Desirable: training or experience in Montessori methodology and accreditation processes (COGNIA).
