About the rolePart stage manager and part juggler, the Account Executive role knows how to keep clients happy while coaxing great campaigns from the creative team. As the link between clients and creative and digital media, we need you to speak both languages. The account executive is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients. Making sure client requests and services are completed and get delivered on time and under budget, while staying in close communication with the creative and media team while keeping the client happy.This role is key to bringing client’s ideas to life, ensuring client satisfaction and even attracting new business. To succeed in this role, you must be able to anticipate obstacles and have a sense of urgency. Being able to address clients’ concerns, issues and feedback and deliver completed projects by deadline as well as managing client expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesServes as a point of contact between the client and the internal team, coordinating the day-to-day execution of projects, including events, advertising campaigns, digital media, productions and other client-requested initiatives. Works under the supervision of the Account Manager, providing ongoing visibility into the progress, decisions and needs of the assigned accounts.Coordinates and manages the day-to-day execution of assigned projects from kickoff through completion, following up on timelines, deliverables, approvals, budgets and next steps.Keeps the Account Manager informed of relevant client communications, decisions, requested changes and any situation that may affect the project’s scope, budget or timeline.Participates in strategic discussions with clients and the Account Manager to understand their objectives and expectations and contribute to the development of campaigns aligned with their needs.Prepares and distributes clear meeting recaps documenting agreements, decisions, responsibilities, deadlines and pending approvals.Develops and maintains project timelines and status reports, ensuring alignment among the client, Account Manager, internal teams and external partners.Prepares clear and detailed creative briefs in Basecamp, outlining the client’s requirements, objectives and expectations to support effective execution by the corresponding teams.Coordinates with the Creative, Strategy, Digital, Media, Production, Logistics and Finance teams to ensure projects move forward efficiently and within the established timelines.Prepares and presents creative proposals to the client in coordination with the Account Manager, ensuring all components align with the approved brief and the brand’s marketing strategy.Obtains quotes, prepares estimates and monitors project budgets and profitability, considering vendor costs, rate cards, margins and established markup formulas.Identifies out-of-scope requests and opportunities to expand services, strengthen existing client relationships and contribute to account growth.Anticipates risks, delays and changes in scope, communicating them to the Account Manager in a timely manner to evaluate alternatives and identify solutions.Reviews all deliverables before sharing them with the Account Manager and/or client to ensure accuracy, quality, brand alignment and compliance with the approved brief.Addresses and follows up on client feedback, as well as any project-related issues or delays.Ensures that completed projects and deliverables are shared with the client within the established timelines.Provides on-site support for events, productions, activations and other client-related executions, as needed.Maintains organized, complete and up-to-date project documentation in Basecamp, Salesforce and other designated platforms.Coordinates the invoicing and administrative project-closing processes with the Finance team, ensuring that client approvals, purchase orders, final costs, vendor invoices, client billing, project files and all other required documentation are complete, accurately recorded and submitted on time.Stays informed about relevant products, services, competitors, target markets, trends and innovations related to the assigned accounts to recommend new strategies and opportunities.Participates in pitches and new business presentations, as required.
Candidate requirementsEducation and experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing or relevant field and at least 2 years of relevant experience such as client relationship, event planning, advertising, trades, etc.Experience in an Advertising Agency is a plus.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Attributes:Good understanding of marketing and advertising methods and techniques.Excellent knowledge of Google Workspace & Apple software. Knowledge of any CRM software will be a strong advantage.Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of accounts possibly from different industries.Must be able to speak and write fluently in English and Spanish.Working knowledge of social media, digital content, paid media and performance reporting, with the ability to coordinate effectively with specialized teams.Superpower communication skills - a clear communicator, in person and writing and able to present ideas with conviction and confidence.Superb presentation skills - quick to absorb and analyze large amounts of information, enthusiastic, energetic, imaginative, approachable, outgoing and diplomatic.Superior organization/project management skills - highly organized, flexible and comfortable working as part of a team.You can sell anything - Management of client expectations to grow our business and ensure quality is always a priority.
Working ConditionsAccount Executives work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities based on the nature of our business. The role may occasionally require work outside regular business hours, including evenings, weekends or holidays, particularly during events, productions or time-sensitive client projects.Most of our roles are office-based with a hybrid schedule. You may travel frequently for meetings, events or job-related tasks and often sit for long hours, speak frequently and lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
