Company Description MICA Administration is a specialized support organization for medical practices, focused on simplifying operational and administrative demands so providers can concentrate on patient care. The company designs personalized management plans that address the unique needs of each practice, managing internal and external factors that influence performance and structure. MICA Administration helps clients improve efficiency in healthcare billing, reduce claim denials, and optimize the use of existing resources. The organization also supports practices in reducing wait times, implementing new technologies, improving patient service, growing patient census, and increasing revenue through better organization and elimination of waste.Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Bayamón, with flexibility to perform some work from home. This role is responsible for managing relationships with medical practice clients, serving as the primary point of contact for their administrative, billing, and practice management needs. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing account performance, monitoring billing processes, coordinating solutions to reduce claim denials, and ensuring clients receive timely updates and support. The Account Manager will analyze practice workflows, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and patient service, and collaborate with internal teams to implement new technologies and strategies. The role also involves preparing reports, tracking key performance indicators, and proactively addressing issues to support client satisfaction and long-term partnership.Qualifications Strong client relationship management and account coordination skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to medical practices.Experience in healthcare administration, medical billing, or revenue cycle management, including familiarity with insurance processes and claim denials.Ability to analyze operational workflows, identify inefficiencies, and support implementation of process improvements and new technologies.Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills to handle multiple client accounts and priorities.Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, in en_US; bilingual Spanish/English is highly beneficial.Proficiency with office productivity software and practice management or billing systems; comfort learning new digital tools.Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a service-oriented mindset focused on client and patient outcomes.Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating on-site in Bayamón and independently from home as needed.
