About the role

Xploy Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable AP/AR specialist to join its finance team. The role manages the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, helping ensure vendors are paid accurately and on time and incoming revenue is tracked and collected efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Accounts payable: Review, verify, and process invoices for validity and accuracy.
• Code expenses to the correct general ledger accounts.
• Schedule and prepare weekly check runs, ACH transfers, and wire payments.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies or payment inquiries.
• Accounts receivable: Generate and send accurate invoices and credit memos to customers.
• Monitor aging reports and contact customers about overdue balances.
• Post daily check, wire, and credit card deposits to the appropriate customer accounts.
• Work with the sales team to investigate and resolve customer billing issues.
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist the Controller/Accounting Manager with month-end closing procedures and accruals.
• Provide documentation and support for annual audits or tax filings.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in high-volume accounts payable/accounts receivable or general accounting roles.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
