SALEM AUTOMECH is hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team in Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. This full-time role is critical to maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly. Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting activities. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with departments to gather financial data and support projects. Participate in annual audits and prepare necessary documentation. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with relevant software preferred. Minimum 2 years of accounting or financial management experience preferred. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus. Join our collaborative finance team and report directly to the Finance Manager who will support your professional growth.
