Key Responsibilities Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and adherence to Mexican accounting standards and regulations. Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and financial reports that provide clear insight into the organization’s financial health. Manage accounts payable and receivable to guarantee timely payments and collections, optimizing cash flow. Reconcile bank statements monthly, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the financial system. Conduct internal audits and collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance and transparency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency. Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local tax laws and deadlines, minimizing risks and penalties. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited institution. 1-3 years of proven experience as an accountant, preferably in an independent contractor capacity. Strong knowledge of Mexican accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial compliance. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred: Experience working with international companies or in remote contractor roles. Knowledge of IFRS standards and experience in audit preparation. Ability to adapt to evolving financial regulations and technology tools.
