Role Description The Accounting & Taxes Lead ($50K) is a full-time, on-site role based in Guaynabo. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The Accounting & Taxes Lead will prepare and review tax returns, ensure compliance with local and federal tax regulations, and maintain accurate documentation for audits. The position also involves analyzing financial data, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes and controls.
QualificationsStrong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.Experience with tax preparation, tax compliance, and interpretation of relevant tax laws and regulations.Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel, including use of spreadsheets and financial formulas.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to communicate financial information clearly and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.Prior experience in an accounting lead or supervisory role is preferred.Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish is an advantage for working in Guaynabo.
