Accounting Analyst

In Grupo Peñaflor we are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our team in Vicente López, Buenos Aires.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly bank reconciliationMaintain fixed asset subledgers and own fixed asset process for businesMaintain lease accounting procesPrepare and review US GAAP financial statements and supporting schedulesEnsure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and regulatory requirementsPrepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and key balance sheet analysesParticipate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, investigating variances and supporting management reportingCoordinate and support internal and external audit requests, ensuring timely and accurate documentationCollaborate with FP&A, Operations, Tax, and Corporate departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment with group requirementsMaintain effective relationships and communication with Corporate Finance, Accounting, Tax, and other shared service teamsDrive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, and support the implementation of accounting best practicesParticipate in special projects related to accounting, financial reporting, controls, and systems

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in AccountinMinimum of 3 years of accounting experiencPrior experience at a Big Four accounting firm strongly preferreStrong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirementExperience preparing US GAAP financial statementExperience working in multinational or complex business environments preferreAdvanced English proficiency (written and verbal) requireAdvanced Excel skills requireExperience with ERP systems preferre
