Accounting and Payroll Analyst

BMA Group Global is seeking an experienced, meticulous and collaborative Accounts and Payroll Analyst to support accurate, efficient and compliant payroll, accounting and customer service processes. Responsibilities

• Payroll management and compliance: Oversee and execute end-to-end payroll, ensuring compliance with Puerto Rico payroll laws and regulations.
• Validate payroll information, including employee deductions, taxes, incentives and benefits, for timely and accurate compensation.
• Prepare payroll reports and meet reporting deadlines for government agencies and stakeholders.
• Accounting and financial transactions: Manage petty cash control, prepare purchase orders and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable, collaborating with Corporate Finance on transaction recording.
• Prepare and process bank transfers and check issuances.
• Employee support and customer service: Respond to employee inquiries about payroll, deductions, benefits and timekeeping with empathetic, responsive service.
• Oversee employee enrollment and updates for health insurance and retirement benefits.
• Compliance and monitoring: Maintain payroll records and meet government filing deadlines as Payroll Compliance Officer.
• Conduct internal audits of payroll and benefit processes to identify and mitigate errors, and ensure compliance with current Puerto Rico labor and tax laws.
