We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Coordinator to support the accounting and finance team of one of our US-based clients.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. They should be comfortable working with numbers, following established processes, and collaborating with teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:Accounting SupportAssist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and payment processing.Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.Assist with account reconciliations and maintaining accounting records.Support month-end close activities, including preparing documentation and assisting with journal entries.Assist with maintaining vendor and customer account information.Support intercompany transactions and other accounting activities as needed.Cost & Financial SupportAssist with tracking and organizing operating expenses and other costs.Prepare basic reports related to labor, materials, and operating expenses.Assist with identifying discrepancies and unusual variances.Support the Finance team with budget tracking and expense analysis.Help maintain accurate cost and financial data.Reconciliations & ReportingPerform basic bank, cash, vendor, customer, and other account reconciliations.Review transactions for accuracy and completeness.Research and escalate discrepancies when necessary.Assist in preparing recurring financial reports and supporting schedules.Maintain organized and audit-ready documentation.
Qualifications:Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.1–2 years of accounting experience; internships or relevant entry-level experience may be considered.Experience with AP/AR, reconciliations, bookkeeping, or financial records.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with accounting software; QuickBooks Online is a plus.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.Comfortable working with a US-based team and business environment.
