Accounts Payable Specialist

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Advanced English (minimum 80% proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking).
2 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting.
Experience processing high volumes of invoices and vendor payments.
Knowledge of ERP systems (Dynamics 365, Oracle, BPCS preferred).
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
Financial ERP systems.
Accounts payable processes.
General Ledger (GL) coding.
ACH, Wire Transfer, EFT, and check payments.
Vendor tax compliance and regulatory requirements.
Internal controls and fraud prevention.
Financial reporting and data analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
VENDOR MANAGEMENT
Create and maintain vendor records.
Validate and bank information.
Manage payment terms and vendor master data updates.

INVOICE PROCESSING
Review and process PO and Non-PO invoices.
Perform invoice matching with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
Resolve discrepancies and research invoice problems.
Maintain supporting documentation.

PAYMENT PROCESSING
Prepare payment proposals.
Process AP, Wire, EFT, and check payments.
Validate payment batches.
Ensure compliance with approval workflows and internal controls.

RECONCILIATIONS & REPORTING
Reconcile vendor statements.
Investigate outstanding balances.
Prepare aging reports and support month-end close activities.
Assist with internal and external audits.
