Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing and monitoring incoming payments, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and maintaining accurate customer accounts. This role supports cash flow, financial reporting, and compliance with internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices in a timely and accurate mannerMonitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue balancesCommunicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issuesApply cash receipts, credits, and adjustments in the accounting systemReconcile accounts receivable and support month-end closing activitiesMaintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standardsGenerate aging reports and provide collection status updates as needed
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required)1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting roleSolid understanding of accounting principles and AR processesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective communication and problem-solving abilities
