Role Description The After School Teacher is a part-time, on-site role based in Panama City, responsible for supporting students after regular school hours. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering engaging lessons in English and Spanish, providing guidance in core academic subjects, and assisting with homework, test preparation, and project work. The role involves monitoring student progress, adapting instruction to individual needs, and maintaining clear communication with students and families. The After School Teacher will also contribute to a supportive learning environment that encourages motivation, confidence, and positive study habits.
QualificationsStrong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience supporting school-age learners in academic subjects.Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and Training, including the ability to design structured, age-appropriate learning activities.Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and interact effectively with students and families.Proficiency in English and Spanish; ability to support multilingual learners, experience with Chinese students is a plus.Relevant academic background in Education, Languages, or a related field; prior tutoring or classroom experience preferred.Ability to work on-site in Panama City during after-school hours, demonstrating reliability, cultural sensitivity, and patience.
