About the role
Vermeer Caribbean is a leading distributor of heavy equipment across the region, supporting industries that build, maintain, and power essential infrastructure. The Aftersales Manager leads and develops the parts and service departments, supporting an exceptional customer experience throughout the equipment's lifespan.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, organize, mentor, and coach the service supervisors and parts sales specialists.
- Coordinate service scheduling, equipment maintenance, and work order processes.
- Monitor warranty claims, returns, exchanges, and quality-related issues.
- Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer standards.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Excellent leadership and customer service skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
- High school diploma and/or technical school education.
