Collections Agent

We are seeking a motivated Collections Agent to join our dynamic team in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Key Responsibilities Contact customers via phone or email to follow up on outstanding payments and negotiate payment plans. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payments, and account status in our database. Assess customer financial situations to determine appropriate repayment options. Work collaboratively with team members to resolve any issues related to accounts or payments. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries with professionalism. Continuously improve personal skills and knowledge regarding collection policies and procedures. Utilize effective negotiation techniques to encourage timely payments from clients. Required and Preferred Qualifications Education: University Student or Bachelor’s Degree in progress. Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, negotiation, time management, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Experience: Previous experience in collections or a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with relevant software tools for database management and communication is a plus.
