About the role
Aditi Consulting is looking for a Senior Ruby Developer to join an initiative with a global client in the Life Sciences industry. The role focuses on transforming the software development lifecycle into an AI-enabled engineering model using Claude AI in the daily development workflow. The internal platform combines Ruby development, AI-assisted engineering, Jira integrations, operational metrics, and modern software delivery practices.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable backend solutions using Ruby.
- Use Claude AI throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze business requirements and propose technical solutions.
- Integrate Jira data into reporting and planning capabilities.
- Build data models to improve operational visibility.
- Improve staffing and planning functionality.
- Collaborate with technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Senior experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails.
- Experience building backend applications.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude during software development.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience working with Jira.
- Advanced English communication skills.
Nice to have: Reporting solutions, data modeling, engineering metrics, and operational dashboards.
