Position SummaryThe Accountant Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Controllership manager in performing general accounting duties related to month end close and Balance Sheet reconciliations. The position requires providing quality financial accounting services, practice knowledge about inventory, costs, and import settlements. Knowledge in SAP or similar systems. Previous experience with international companiesEnglish: It's a plus.
ResponsibilitiesPractice knowledge about inventoryKnowledge and experience in costs, and import settlements.Responsible for preparing monthly journal entries and US/Canada / others Balance Sheet account reconciliations and account analysisDaily Sales reconciling from source invoice system to general ledger systemPrepare monthly, quarterly and year-end reports for use by various departments including but not limited to: Tax, Financial Reporting, Finance and Senior ManagementFixed Asset ledger management for our headquarters Using the company’s Accounting policies and procedures and computerized systems, analyze and prepare correct input, analyze output data and reports, make timely and accurate corrections, and understand how the various computing and manual systems interface with each otherRespond timely as well as provide services and records for inspection by internal and external auditors to facilitate operational and year-end audits as well as unscheduled statutory audits by federal or provincial agencies.

Minimum 5 years experience in Accounting departmentEmbodies and consistently demonstrates: Initiative, Customer Focus, Collaboration, Teamwork, Achieving Results, Analysis and Decision Making , and FlexibilityBS or BA in Accountancy required and professional certificate / cardProficient in understanding of US GAAP; comfortable in review and analysis of financial statements; some exposure to consolidations/eliminations and foreign currencies a plusHighly proficient with ExcelExperience with SAP or similarsProficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Power BiExcellent interpersonal and communication skills at all level; both within and outside the organizationCapable of analyzing issues and skill to solve problems efficientlySkillful in communicating, planning, organizing and prioritizingCapacity to interact easily with people, computer and business systemsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsOutstanding organizational and time management skills; the ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesExperience in foreign companies
