About the role
The Assistant Merchandiser supports the product lifecycle by ensuring merchandising data accuracy, creating seasonal sales tools, and partnering with cross-functional teams to bring products to market. The role combines analytical skills, organization, and collaboration to support merchandising strategies, optimize processes, and deliver product information to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and maintain seasonal sales go-to-market decks.
- Coordinate with Licensing, Design, and Merchandising teams to update and maintain sales tools, product catalogs, and change logs. Ensure product data is accurately maintained across platforms.
- Maintain the accuracy and consistency of product data in internal systems. Conduct regular audits and updates to support cross-functional visibility and execution.
- Assist with daily merchandising activities, including system updates, sample tracking, meeting preparation, and documentation. Handle routine requests and ad hoc reporting.
- Analyze internal sales data and system reports to inform decision-making, track KPIs, and identify performance trends.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in Merchandising or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
- Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, excellent follow-through, and time management.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and business needs.
