A law firm based in San Juan, Puerto Rico is hiring for Bankruptcy Attorneys with 3+ years of bankruptcy and insolvency experience.
In this role you will be responsible for managing bankruptcy matters (mostly Chapter 7, with potential for some Chapter 13 matters in the longer term) from inception through resolution, including intake assessments, client counseling, case strategy, motion practice, and remote court appearances.
QualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with at least one of the following State Bars: Arizona, Florida, Texas, New York, Michigan, Illinois, GeorgiaAdmission to practice before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in candidate’s relevant district(s)Strong understanding of Chapters 7 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings
