About the role
Sterlington PLLC is a full-service law firm focused on complex corporate, litigation, executive compensation, and private wealth matters. The firm considers the economics as well as the legal aspects of its matters and works with founders, senior executives, UHNWIs, and their related businesses.
As Sterlington scales, the Attorney Development Manager will build attorney development from the ground up, helping associates receive consistent feedback, grow, and feel part of the firm. The role is part of the People Team and works closely with firm leadership.
Location: 100% remote. Contract: Full-time, independent contractor. Posting jurisdictions: To support US Eastern Time working hours.
Responsibilities
- Build a feedback cadence that supports team members’ growth beyond an annual review.
- Manage relationships with partners and firm leadership, tailoring the approach to each stakeholder.
- Develop programs and touchpoints that help associates feel they belong to the firm.
- Design and manage learning and development programs end-to-end, using course design grounded in adult learning theory to build associates’ skills and support career progression.
- Coach and mentor.
