About the role
As a CBRE CAD Designer, you will design and prepare electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for small to medium-scale projects. This role is part of the Design function, which prepares and produces proposals and planning applications for internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Prepare prints of original plans and records for internal and external agency use.
- Review updated drawings for changes using computer-aided drafting techniques.
- Gather data by visiting sites, conduct space surveys, and prepare detailed reports.
- Assist with developing maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external partners to obtain project details, including equipment, materials, and codes.
- Collect on-site information and enter it into a database to maintain current building conditions and data.
- Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, with up to 3 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Organizational skills and a strong inquisitive mindset.
- English level of B2 is required.
- Some knowledge of standard principles, with limited practical experience applying them.
