TCS is seeking an Automation Tester with experience across diverse testing stacks (Selenium with Java/C#/Salesforce/ETL or Test Data Management) to join a collaborative and fast‑paced environment where technology and business come together to create meaningful impact. This role plays a key part in ensuring software quality through robust automation practices, supporting complex systems, integrations, and data-driven applications.
The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented and quality‑driven professional with strong automation experience across multiple technologies, capable of adapting to different testing needs, improving test coverage, and collaborating effectively within cross-functional, global teams in a dynamic, multi‑initiative environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Selenium across different technology stacks (Java, C#, Salesforce, ETL).Analyze functional and technical requirements to define effective test strategies and coverage.Build and enhance automation frameworks to support scalable, reusable, and maintainable testing.Develop automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, data pipelines, and enterprise platforms.Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of requirements and expected outcomes.Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.Validate data integrity across systems, including ETL processes and data pipelines.Implement and manage Test Data Management (TDM) strategies to ensure accurate and reliable test environments.Support Salesforce testing, including UI and backend validations where applicable.Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring proper resolution and retesting.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing practices.Continuously improve test automation processes, frameworks, and tools.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.Provide clear reporting on test execution, quality metrics, and risks.
Technical Requirements & ExpertiseProven experience as an Automation Tester or QA Engineer in complex environments.Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, with at least one of the following: Java, C#, Salesforce testing environments, ETL / Data testing frameworksStrong programming skills in Java or C#.Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or Cucumber (BDD).Familiarity with Salesforce testing tools and environments is a plus.Experience in ETL testing, including data validation, transformation logic, and data reconciliation.Knowledge of Test Data Management (TDM) concepts and tools.Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data validation and database testing.Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar.Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).Understanding of Agile methodologies and QA practices within Agile teams.Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Experience in debugging, defect analysis, and root cause identification.Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
