Auto Shop Inc is hiring a full-time Automotive Shop Service Manager in Chicago, IL. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily automotive shop operations to ensure efficiency and customer satisfaction. Lead and manage a team of technicians and service advisors, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering parts to maintain uninterrupted service. Optimize scheduling to balance technician workloads and improve service turnaround times. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates and encourage teamwork. Use performance metrics to assess service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Excellent customer service skills with bilingual communication abilities in English and Spanish. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience managing teams in an automotive service environment preferred. Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes is a plus. Proficiency with service management software and tools. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in automotive service management. We offer a collaborative work culture with direct reporting lines to senior management. This role is based on-site in Chicago, IL and is not eligible for remote work. Salary: $70,000 per year.
