Bilingual Cost Estimator

This remote role involves preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, specifically within the Florida market. The successful candidate will analyze project plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and source pricing to develop comprehensive bids and proposals. It requires a strong understanding of local market conditions and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate project cost estimates based on plans, specifications, and client requirementsReview drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, and estimate labor and material costsSource and compare pricing from vendors and subcontractors, with an emphasis on Florida market pricingPrepare bids, proposals, and detailed cost breakdownsUpdate and revise estimates as project scopes changeCoordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure estimates are accurate and competitiveIdentify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and budget expectationsKey Qualifications2+ years of experience estimating projects for the Florida marketStrong understanding of local labor, material, and subcontractor pricing in FloridaExperience in construction estimating or a related fieldAbility to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specificationsStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating softwareExcellent analytical skills with strong attention to detailStrong written and verbal English communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team during U.S. business hoursDirect experience estimating construction projects in FloridaJob Type: Full-timePay: $16,692.50 - $24,280.00 per monthWork Location: Remote
