About the role
OutStaHub is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Virtual Assistant to support a Personal Injury law firm in Los Angeles. The role supports the disposition/Lien Negotiations team by ensuring medical bills and health insurance liens are received, accurate, and properly documented. The work is during Pacific Time Zone, with weekly payment.
Responsibilities
- Verify receipt of medical bills and health insurance liens related to active cases.
- Review and cross-check documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
- Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and internal staff to resolve discrepancies.
- Track and update billing and lien information using Excel or other data management tools.
- Maintain an organized digital filing system for related documentation.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support case management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical billing, health insurance claims, or lien management.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data entry, and sorting and filtering.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
