Bilingual Medical Billing Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Virtual Assistant to join our Personal Injury law firm in Los Angeles. This role will support our disposition/Lien Negotiations team by ensuring all medical bills and health insurance liens are received, accurate, and properly documented. The ideal candidate will possess excellent English communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in Excel. Work during Pacific Time Zone and receive weekly payment.
What you will do:
Verify receipt of all medical bills and health insurance liens related to active casesReview and cross-check documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standardsCommunicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and internal staff to resolve discrepanciesTrack and update all billing and lien information using Excel or other data management toolsMaintain an organized digital filing system for all related documentationAssist with other administrative tasks as needed to support case management
Key Qualifications
Proven experience in medical billing, health insurance claims, or lien managementStrong command of English, both written and verbal communicationProficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, sorting/filtering, etc.)Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
