Billing Analyst

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing & Accounting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing billing operations, processing invoices, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring accurate and timely payments for customers, carriers, and agents.You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain billing accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and support the overall accounts receivable process while ensuring data integrity within our Transportation Management System (TMS).
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and manage customer, carrier, and agent invoices accurately and on time.Follow up on pending invoices and payment requests.Request, collect, and verify Proofs of Delivery (PODs) and other supporting documentation.Review and process detention, layover, and other accessorial charges.Upload invoices and required documents to customer portals and billing platforms.Maintain accurate customer, carrier, and order records within the TMS.Communicate with customers, carriers, agents, account managers, and sales representatives to resolve billing discrepancies.Ensure all billing documentation is complete, accurate, and properly filed.Support collections activities and accounting-related processes.Contribute to improving billing efficiency and maintaining data accuracy across all accounts.
RequirementsPrevious experience in billing, invoicing, accounting support, or related roles.B2-C1 English level proficiency.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data management.Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
