Role Description This full-time BIM Modeler role at SIMPLE LATAM is a hybrid position based in Zona Quince, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The BIM Modeler will create, update, and manage 3D models for architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) disciplines, ensuring accuracy and coordination across all project stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting construction drawings, developing detailed BIM models, detecting and resolving clashes, and maintaining model standards and documentation. The role also involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers, preparing model-based deliverables, and supporting design reviews and coordination meetings. The BIM Modeler will contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes, templates, and workflows within the organization.Qualifications Strong proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows, with experience managing detailed project models.Background in Architecture and modeling, with the ability to translate design concepts and construction details into accurate digital models.Experience working with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including coordination of MEP models within multidisciplinary projects.Ability to read, interpret, and produce construction drawings, ensuring consistency between 2D documentation and 3D models.Relevant technical degree or diploma in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional project teams.Experience with clash detection, model-based quantity takeoffs, and BIM standards is a plus.Prior experience in Latin American construction or design projects preferred but not required.
