About the Role We are looking for a Bookkeeper to join our fully remote team. This opportunity is open to candidates located anywhere in Latin America.
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing daily accounting operations, and supporting financial reporting processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO), and the ability to work in a fast-paced, global crypto environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling both operational accounting tasks and supporting strategic financial processes.
Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks Online (QBO) Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management Track incoming and outgoing payments across fiat and crypto channels using internal payment tracking systems Reconcile bank accounts, digital payment platforms, wallets, and company transactions Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting Monitor expenses and ensure proper categorization, including crypto-related transactions Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures Identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy across financial systems Support audit processes and assist in preparing documentation for tax and regulatory reporting Prepare and review journal entries and transaction records Maintain organized financial documentation and reports Collaborate with internal teams and external partners as needed Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper, Full-Charge Bookkeeper, Accounting Specialist, or in a similar accounting role. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO) (required) Experience with payment tracking systems and transaction reconciliation Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets Ability to work remotely and collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience working in a crypto company, fintech, or banking environment is highly preferred Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
