Job Summary:
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards in Power BI, ensuring that data is accessible, accurate, and relevant for decision-making. The role also includes training end-users on the use of Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as collaborating on the development of KPIs aligned with the financial and operational needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities: Power BI Report Development: Create, modify, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI by extracting data from Fabric (Data Warehouse), Excel files, and/or ERP/CRM systems such as Dynamics Business Central, QuickBooks, or SAP. Ensure the quality and performance of implemented solutions. Data Analysis and Modeling: Design efficient data models and semantic structures to facilitate data visualization. Manage database relationships and write SQL queries to structure and validate data. Integrate third-party applications via REST APIs. Validate and clean data to ensure consistency in reports. Training and Support: Train end-users in using Power BI, including queries, filters, and report maintenance. Provide technical support for adjustments or new functionality requirements. Document new processes and workflows. Business Alignment: Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Pricing departments to understand requirements and translate them into effective KPIs. Interpret stakeholders’ needs and propose data-driven solutions, adding value through financial knowledge.
Requirements:
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, connectors to DW/Excel). Solid SQL knowledge (queries, table relationships, database structure). Experience with REST API integrations. Experience in data integration and metric management. Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Business Central is preferred; candidates with hands-on experience in similar ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Salesforce) will also be considered. Python knowledge is a plus. 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Soft Skills: Ability to teach and train non-technical users. High attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset. Team-oriented, proactive, and results-driven approach. Assertive and clear communication skills.
Desirable: Basic knowledge of accounting/finance to interpret KPIs (e.g., margins, ROI, cash flow). Advanced English proficiency.
