Captains

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety operate and navigate charter vessels in accordance with maritime regulations and company procedures.
- Ensure the safe of passengers, crew and vessel at all times.
- Conduct pre-departure inspections and ensure vessels are seaworthy and properly equipped.
- Supervise and lead the crew.
- Make informed decisions based on weather, sea conditions and operational safety.
- Maintain accurate logs, manifests and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with immigration, customs, port and international requirements where applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional standards.
- Use correct procedures and communication to ensure vessel operations are safe and efficient.
- Manage onboard systems and all passengers.

REQUIREMENTS – CAPTAINS:
Valid Boat Master’s License appropriate to the vessel area and operation.
Valid STCW certification.
Valid Medical Fitness Certificate.
Minimum Five (5) years’ experience as a Captain in command of passenger vessel.
Strong knowledge of navigation, seamanship and maritime regulations.
Experience in Anguilla’s coastal waters and international waters.
Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
