About the role

Xploy Solutions is seeking a compassionate, highly organized, and detail-oriented Senior Medicaid CaseManager. The role supports seniors and their families through the Medicaid application process, combining empathy and patience with careful review of financial histories, asset statements, and legal documentation. A support team handles primary document collection, while the case manager is accountable for the application file from the initial consultation until approval.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial documentation process managed by the support team.
• Review three to five years of bank statements, asset disclosures, tax returns, and legal documents to understand the client's financial profile.
• Maintain responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the application package, ensuring compliance with state regulations and deadlines before submission.
• Interview seniors and their families about care needs and financial situations, explaining complex rules in simple, reassuring terms.
• Provide a calm, reassuring presence for seniors who may be confused, stressed, or dealing with cognitive decline, moving at a pace that helps them feel safe and respected.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client, financial institutions, legal representatives, and the Medicaid office to resolve queries or requests for additional information.

Requirements

• Extreme attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to spot missing pieces in bank statements, property deeds, and income verifications.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with genuine warmth and patience for the elderly population.
