The Support Center area at Dollarcity…Is a dynamic team dedicated to providing technical assistance and problem resolution for store employees across multiple locations. Equipped with expertise in troubleshooting, system management, and user support, the team ensures seamless operations by managing local and remote equipment. Operating in a trilingual environment, the Support Center prioritizes efficiency, responsiveness, and innovative solutions to empower Dollarcity's workforce and enhance operational continuity.
As Cash Management Sr. Analyst Trilingual.......you will support the accuracy, control, and timely reconciliation of store cash activities by reviewing variances, coordinating cash balancing, preparing operational reporting, and partnering with stores and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and strengthen cash-management processes.
In a day as a Cash Management Sr. Analyst Trilingual, you will:
Perform daily and periodic reconciliations of store cash transactions, deposits, and related financial records, identifying andinvestigating discrepancies. Coordinate cash-balancing activities with stores and internal teams to ensure variances are reviewed, supported, and resolved within established timelines.Contact stores to obtain missing information, validate transactions, clarify cash discrepancies, and provide guidance on required corrective actions.Prepare, analyze, and distribute operational reports and dashboards related to cash variances, outstanding items, reconciliation status, and performance trends.Monitor aged and unresolved cash-management items, escalate risks or recurring issues, and follow through until resolution. Validate supporting documentation and maintain accurate records and audit trails for reconciliations, adjustments, and store follow-ups.Partner with Finance, Operations, Banking, Loss Prevention, and other stakeholders to resolve complex exceptions and support month-end activities. Identify recurring process gaps and recommend improvements to controls, reporting, workflows, and store communication. Provide guidance and operational support to junior team members, promoting consistency, accuracy, and adherence to procedures.Support special projects, process transitions, system enhancements, and user testing related to cash-management activities.What do you need to be successful?
Technical or university studies in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field are preferred but not mandatory.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances and identify root causes.Advanced attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English and French, including the ability to interact professionally with stores and cross-functional stakeholders Customer service backgroundDesirable experience in any administrative financial/accounting role and SAP
