Key Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class A or B trucks and excavators, adhering strictly to all federal and state safety and transportation regulations. Transport materials and heavy equipment efficiently to and from various job sites, ensuring timely delivery to meet project schedules. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain operational safety and compliance. Coordinate daily routes and activities with project managers and site supervisors to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Assist with loading and unloading excavators and other heavy machinery, ensuring secure handling to prevent damage and delays. Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs, mileage records, and cargo documentation in compliance with DOT requirements. Participate actively in safety meetings and training sessions to continuously improve knowledge of industry best practices and safety standards. What We're Looking For Required: Valid CDL Class A or B license issued by the state of Florida. High School Diploma or GED. Proven experience operating excavators and heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Physical capability to perform demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
