Key Responsibilities Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with all federal and state traffic laws. Transport freight across regional and national routes, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to schedules. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and roadworthiness. Maintain accurate electronic logs of driving hours and delivery records, following DOT regulations. Communicate proactively with dispatch and team members to coordinate routes and resolve road issues efficiently. Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Participate in ongoing training sessions and safety meetings to stay current with company policies and industry regulations. What We're Looking For Required: High School Diploma or GED. Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of verifiable over-the-road (OTR) driving experience. Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and DOT compliance standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently on long hauls. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing road conditions. Preferred: Experience with regional and national freight routes. Knowledge of safety protocols and transportation industry best practices. Previous experience working with a dedicated dispatch team.
