Harris-MCBurney is seeking a dedicated CDL Driver for our Water & Sewer Division based in New York City, NY . This full-time role is essential in supporting public infrastructure by safely transporting materials critical to water and sewer system maintenance and development. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles to transport materials to and from job sites while strictly following all safety regulations. Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety and reliability. Skillfully maneuver vehicles in tight spaces and assist with loading and unloading materials as needed. Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, materials transported, and mileage driven in compliance with company and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve transportation issues. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to protect yourself and others on the road. Required and Preferred Qualifications Valid CDL License is mandatory. High School Diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of commercial vehicle driving experience preferred. Strong familiarity with New York City roads and traffic patterns. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding environments. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
