We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic and operational financial leadership for a large-scale, technology-enabled essential-services organization. As a member of the Executive Committee, this leader will be responsible for financial strategy, reporting, controls, liquidity, banking, investments, audits, and finance technology.The CFO will partner with executive and operational leaders to translate business strategy into financial plans, strengthen decision-making, and protect the organization’s long-term financial position. This role requires the ability to shape enterprise priorities while maintaining command of accounting, payroll, billing, accounts payable, cash management, compliance, and audit execution.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute the organization’s financial strategy in alignment with enterprise objectives and long-term value creation.Advise executive leadership on business performance, financial risks, opportunities, scenarios, and strategic decisions.Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, capital allocation, and scenario modeling.Establish executive reporting and performance-management processes that connect financial results with operating drivers, productivity, workforce trends, and customer economics.Maintain accountability for accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, consolidations, financial statements, and management reporting under US GAAP.Provide leadership over accounting, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, payroll, fixed assets, cash application, and working-capital processes.Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and control in a high-volume environment with a large hourly workforce operating across multiple locations and schedules.Strengthen internal controls, segregation of duties, approval frameworks, financial policies, and fraud-prevention measures.Lead external financial statement audits and coordinate tax, regulatory, and internal reviews.Manage liquidity, cash forecasting, banking structures, credit facilities, investments, treasury controls, and related financial risks.Evaluate business cases, contracts, pricing, customer profitability, capital investments, and new initiatives.Partner with Operations and Human Resources to improve labor-cost visibility, time and attendance integrity, payroll controls, staffing economics, and service profitability.Lead the finance technology roadmap and data governance for Oracle NetSuite and related financial and operational platforms.Increase automation, system integration, and analytical capabilities while protecting data accuracy, traceability, and appropriate controls.Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing finance team with clear accountability, succession planning, and measurable performance expectations.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.CPA strongly preferred; MBA or another relevant graduate degree is valued.Fifteen or more years of progressive financial leadership experience.Significant experience as a CFO, Vice President of Finance, Finance Director, Controller, or comparable enterprise finance leader.Strong technical foundation in accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and audits.Demonstrated experience leading financial close, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, banking, investments, compliance, and financial controls.Experience supporting a labor-intensive, multi-location, 24/7 services organization with a substantial hourly workforce.Proven ability to operate as a strategic executive while remaining sufficiently involved in operational and financial details.Demonstrated success implementing, optimizing, or governing ERP and financial systems; Oracle NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.Experience with banking structures, cash management, investments, credit relationships, and high-volume transaction environments.Knowledge of US GAAP and the tax, labor, payroll, and regulatory requirements applicable to Puerto Rico and other relevant operating jurisdictions.Professional fluency in English and Spanish.Executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence Boards, executives, operational leaders, auditors, bankers, and employees.Key Leadership Competencies:Enterprise perspective and strategic judgment.Financial rigor and unquestioned integrity.Executive presence, influence, and concise communication.Technology fluency and data-driven decision-making.Ability to move effectively between strategy and operational detail.Change leadership and a continuous-improvement mindset.Talent development, accountability, and collaborative leadership.Composure, decisiveness, and resilience in a fast-moving environment.
