Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Leadership: Oversee comprehensive financial strategy across three core business lines (ARS, General Insurance, and AFP).Investment & Capital: Drive investment management, capital optimization, and financial risk/solvency management.Compliance & Reporting: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards set by the Insurance and Pension Superintendence (SISPEN) and maintain consolidated group financial reporting.Strategic Planning: Direct financial and budgetary strategic planning, aligning fiscal goals with organizational growth.Digital Transformation & Tech: Lead enterprise digital transformation, modernize core insurance/pension systems, and integrate architectures across business units.Infrastructure & Innovation: Oversee cloud computing, cybersecurity, data protection compliance, data analytics solutions, and emerging technologies (AI, automation).
Required Skills & QualificationsLanguage: Fluent in Spanish, speaking and writing.Experience & Leadership: Minimum 15–20 years of total experience, with at least 5 years in senior financial leadership positions within insurance or financial services. Minimum 15 years of information technology experience, including at least 5 years in technology leadership within finance/insurance.Certifications: Chartered Accountant (CA) or international equivalent (CPA, ACCA).FINRA Requirements: Must possess at least one of the FINRA Certifications (Series 24, 7, 6, SIE, or 66) — candidates are not required to hold all, and holding the Series 7 is a top preference.Domain Expertise: Proven track record in investment management, US regulations, multi-business line management, system modernization, cybersecurity, and multicloud architectures.Preferred Qualifications: Deep familiarity with Dominican insurance and pension regulations.
